I can still hear Big Ben chiming on the BBC, the champagne cork popping and me screaming HAPPY NEW YEAR at the top my lungs. The hotly anitcipated 2011 had arrived and it was time to put my New Year's Resolutions into action and I was ready and raring to go, starting with my new fantabulous blog! Erm...so six weeks later, I'm stting in front of the laptop staring at a blank blog page wondering where on eath to begin!
So I thought I would start with why I wanted to write a blog. It's not rocket science really and I'm sure many a blog has started on the same premise. I'm FED UP! With my boring, mundane, repetitive and very VERY single life :( and something has got to change! So welcome to the 'Year of Me' where I discover new little pastimes and treats, feed the shop-a-holic monster inside me, attempt to get my health in order, (yep I mean lose some weight) and possibly, just possibly meet a decent normal guy, the latter proving the most difficult!
I chose my blog name, Serendipity, for its definition; "good luck in making unexpected and fortunate discoveries" this is what my year has got to be about, and with a PMA -Positive Mental Attitude and an open mind im hoping to get bucket loads of luck!
